Dr. Olaf Jorgenson has been a school leader and teacher in public, private and international schools since 1987, and since 2008 has served as head of school at Almaden Country Day School (ACDS) in San Jose, CA. Ole has contributed more than 100 articles and conference presentations, along with four books for teachers and parents. He serves on the boards of the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS), the Klingenstein Center for Independent School Leadership, and the Association of Independent School Admissions Professionals (AISAP). Ole's current work beyond ACDS supports small and under-resourced schools, addressing head of school burnout, and combating enrollment decline. Ole lives with his family in San Jose, CA.
