A critical mass of independent schools – including half of the 2,000+ NAIS members – are now contending with or anticipating enrollment decline, and many struggle to identify solutions. This workshop provides critical tools to support schools facing enrollment pressures: - Insight about the enrollment obstacles we can and can’t address – and how to know which problems we can solve - 12 mindset shifts to help prepare your faculty and school community for the difficult changes required to effectively resist enrollment challenges - Case studies featuring very different strategies schools have used to successfully restore full enrollment. This session is based on the three-year campaign at the presenter’s own school to successfully reverse a crisis stemming from a 30% enrollment decline, along with lessons learned from a broad network of peer schools facing similar battles. The workshop is a mix of presentation and small group discussion, followed by an interactive Q&A.
