Mac McCallum joined Pace Academy in 2017 and serves as Director of Admissions and Financial Aid and Upper School history teacher. He has also coached varsity baseball during his time at Pace.

Mac joined the Pace faculty after five years at Asheville School in Asheville, North Carolina, where served as Director of Financial Aid, Assistant Director of Admissions, history teacher, dorm parent, and coach.

He holds an M.Ed. in Independent School Leadership from Vanderbilt University, an M.A. in U.S. History from North Carolina State University, and a B.A. from Sewanee: The University of the South, where he played varsity baseball.

Originally from Rockville, Maryland, Mac graduated from St. Andrew's School in Middletown, Delaware.

Mac's wife, Mary Pat, teaches second grade in Pace Academy's Lower School, and they have two children, Duncan and Scottie.
