Michelle is an “Air Force brat” who spent her early childhood years in Florida, Oklahoma, and South Carolina, then moved with her family to Miami, where she graduated from high school. After earning a B.A. in English and communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Michelle lived and worked in Washington, D.C., and Texas before returning to the Sunshine State. Prior to joining Carrollwood Day School, first as a parent, then as an employee, Michelle directed communication efforts at various non-profit organizations and educational institutions. At Carrollwood Day School, Michelle primarily is responsible for student admission to the Lower School (Early Childhood Campus and Elementary). She also provides data and research for the school's strategic plan.

Michelle is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the Muma College of Business at USF. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys exercising, reading, and traveling with her husband and two children.
