Crystal Verran is the Director of Marketing and Communications at Wayland Academy. She has more than 16 years of experience working in higher-ed marketing and communications, with a background in graphic design, project management, and marketing strategy. She was born and raised in Michigan, where she lived her entire life before relocating to Beaver Dam in the fall of 2020 with her husband Derrick. Crystal and Derrick have two adult children, Zachary and Samantha, and a very energetic English Springer Spaniel, Motley. She enjoys serving as a volunteer in her community and is the chair of the Beaver Dam Tourism Committee.
