Dr. Jean-Pierre (JP) Jacquet is in his 19th year of school leadership and is the current Director of Financial Aid and Assistant Director of Middle and Upper School Admission at the Riverdale Country School. JP serves as a trustee for two non profit organizations. He serves on the Board of Directors for Breakthrough New York, an education access program, which empowers motivated students from low-income backgrounds to graduate from college and pursue a fulfilling career. JP serves on the Board of Trustees of the Eagle Hill School, in Greenwich, Ct. During his career in education JP has worked for the central office of the New York City Department of Education; he has also served as an Assistant Division Head, Dean of Students and College Guidance Counselor. JP earned an A.B. in Government from Harvard University in 2005, a M.A. in Private School Leadership from Columbia University's Teachers College in 2012, and an Ed.D in Educational Leadership from University of Pennsyvania's Graduate School of Education Mid-Career Program in 2026. JP was born in Haiti and is a naturalized United States citizen. He is married to Dr. Mary Breda Morrissey and they live with their four children in Stamford, CT.
