Nichole Sullivan is a seasoned early childhood educator and enrollment leader with more than fifteen years of experience in progressive, Reggio Emilia–inspired school communities. She currently serves as Executive Director at Cypress School, where she leads with a deep commitment to inquiry-based learning, community partnership, and equitable access in early childhood education.
Prior to Cypress, Nichole was Director of Admissions, Multicultural Recruitment, and Sliding Scale Tuition at La Scuola International School, where she played a key role in expanding access and aligning enrollment strategy with mission-driven values. Her work focused on building inclusive admissions practices and creating pathways for diverse families to engage with independent schools.
Nichole’s leadership experience also includes overseeing full-site operations as Site Director at Marin Day Schools, as well as roles in training and operations with Bright Horizons and Five Keys Charter School. Across these roles, she has led initiatives spanning budgeting, staffing, family engagement, and organizational development.
A highly relational and collaborative leader, Nichole currently serves as President of the Bay Area Directors of Admissions, a network of more than 70 independent schools. She is widely recognized for her ability to bring clarity, steadiness, and vision to complex systems while keeping children, families, and educators at the center of her work.
