With over 25 years of independent school experience, Torsie Judkins is passionate about creating educational environments where all students can thrive. His extensive career has included leadership roles in Admissions, Enrollment, and Financial Aid, as well as guiding schools through accreditation processes. A dedicated advocate for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging (DEIJB), Torsie has worked tirelessly to build inclusive school cultures that empower every student and family.

Originally from the East Coast, Torsie brings a rich perspective on progressive education, and the vital role schools play in fostering community and social change. He began his independent school career at Durham Academy, his alma mater, and has worked at independent schools in the New York City area, and Pennsylvania, gaining valuable experience in diverse educational environments. He has served on multiple non-profit boards. Outside of his professional life, Torsie enjoys watching his kids play soccer, coaching them in basketball, cheering on the Badgers and his other favorite sports teams, golfing, traveling, and spending quality time with his family.
