Description
This session will focus on retention in schools and how creating a culture of belonging can prevent families from leaving. Families want to feel integrated into the schooling system in policies, curriculum, and events too. Doing so allows families to feel that their child's school is a supportive community where their presence is valued. This session will focus on ways that schools can allow more parents and community members to have a voice at the table of school decisions.
