Year in and year out, The Thacher School has an exceptionally high admission yield; however, a few years ago, we took a close look at the students we were losing to other schools. Two things stood out, many students were interviewing off-campus or via Skype, and often the students were choosing to go to school much closer to home. Additionally, we noticed that these students were disproportionately students of color.
