Jessica Bliss is an award-winning journalist and public relations professional, recognized for her compelling narratives and strategic insight. As the director of marketing and communications at Harpeth Hall, Jessica leads PR strategies that elevate the voices of students, faculty, and alumnae, aligning with the school's mission to educate girls and young women to think critically, lead confidently, and live honorably. Jessica earned her APR (Accreditation in Public Relations) in August 2024. Her professional approach is guided by her conviction that storytelling inspires understanding, deepens trust and connection, and strengthens communities. Before joining Harpeth Hall, Jessica spent 18 years as a reporter at The Tennessean and the USA Today Network. In her coverage, she humanized major news events and investigations by telling the personal stories of those affected. A 2019 Leadership Tennessee alumna, Jessica currently serves on committees for the Tennessee Disability Coalition and PRSA Nashville. Dedicated to uplifting the next generation of women leaders, she previously served on the boards of Girls on the Run-Nashville, Nashville CABLE, and Play Like a Girl.
