This presentation series will provide an overview of the latest guidelines, practical tools, and a
new metric coming to the Character Skills Snapshot that all work toward using Character to
implement a more holistic admissions process. Attendees will first gain insights into the latest
holistic admissions guidelines. Then, Making Caring Common will share their "Character
Assessment in Admission Guide" and how the tips, examples, and best practices within may be
adapted to be a resource to support high school admission leaders as they incorporate character
review into their process. Finally, we will introduce the Character Skills Composite. This new
metric simplifies the evaluation of Character Skills by consolidating the Enrollment Management
Association's Character Skills Snapshot scores into a single, easy-to-understand score. Time will
be allocated for audience questions.
