Since the Supreme Court’s decision last spring against colleges factoring in race during the
admissions decision process, K-12 schools nationwide have been grappling with what potential
implications this could have for their DEIJ programs. Parents have already sued K-12 public
schools such as Thomas Jefferson High School in Virginia (Supreme Court turns away affirmative action dispute over Virginia high school's admissions policies - CBS News), and it is only a matter of time until the same suit is brought against K-12 independent schools. Education
Brands (Ravenna Admit) is hosting a panel to talk about these challenges,
and ways our organizations have partnered to future proof admissions processes while
continuing to empower schools to create diverse communities.
