This session will outline the Why? and How? to building an admissions rubric that promotes equitable review of admissions files. It will also share the important elements that need to be considered when identifying the criteria and competencies being assessed for readiness. Our admissions department went through an evolution as we determined the best and most fair way to review files and make decisions. After collaborating with key school team members to create a weighted rubric, our 24-25 admissions review process was more seamless and less subjective in the decision-making process.
