Sarah Edwards founded Edwards Educational Consulting in 2009 with a strategic focus on crafting and executing mission-driven financial aid policies to drive student enrollment. Her career in independent school admission and financial aid spans over two decades, commencing in 1999.

Before the inception of EEC, Sarah held the pivotal role of Director of Admission and Financial Aid at The Derryfield School in Manchester, NH. She also led the admission and financial aid team at Boston University Academy in Boston, MA. Sarah's expertise further extended to international student recruitment as she spearheaded efforts at Northfield Mount Hermon School. She served as a dedicated alumna interviewer in the admission office for her alma mater, Phillips Exeter Academy.

Sarah graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University with a B.A. degree, specializing in international studies with a focus on women's access to higher education and economics. Her passion for education and world travel led her to teach English in Fukuyama, Japan, as well as in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Beyond her professional commitments, Sarah's dedication to education is underscored by her service on the SAU 16 public school board in Exeter, New Hampshire, and her current role on the Clarity Methodology Board.
