Everything you need to know about China, Sino-US relations and how it will impact enrollment moving forward. This session will cover the most recent policy updates in the Chinese education market and macro socio-political arena, and more importantly, how these developments impact the mindset of Chinese families in making critical decisions for their children’s educational journey. We will do a deep dive into the different types of Chinese families shaped by their socio-economical and cultural circumstances, and what top-level directives as well as Sino-US dynamics mean to them. Furthermore, we will examine "character education" through a bicultural lens and explore: (1) how to best communicate the essence of a holistic "mind, body, spirit" education model to the Chinese audience; and (2) effective tools and methods for character development that takes cultural background into account.
