Since adolescent mental health is at an all time low, we all know more kids and families are seeking support, and kids have become a little more complex. This is a session that will describe and give you the basics about therapeutic programs, the students they have, and how your school can support them upon successful completion. Things we will cover: *Levels of care - Wilderness, RTC, TBS, Short Term Residential: What does it all mean? *Red flags - What are parents not telling me? *What questions you should be asking - who to ask what, and how to assess if you can support them? *How your school can support these students - what helps these students be successful? *How to help them be successful in your school - who needs to be involved and in the know? *What to expect and how to manage the admissions process differently with these families - what should it look like and does it need to be different for these families?
