Parents are the ultimate decision makers and their experience is critical to enrollment. Although we spend significant effort on the student and faculty experience, achieving enrollment goals begins with listening to the voices of your parents. We must better understand their expectations and have processes in place to meet them. This workshop offers insights, strategies, and examples from evidence-based research on the surprisingly positive power of a “customer-in” focus with your parents. We will explore how students learn best when supported by their parents, how to listen, learn, and act on the voices of parents, the dual experience parents seek, how to develop a "customer-in" focus, and parent personas.
