When St. Andrew's Episcopal School added its Learning Specialist to the Admissions Committee, a previously silent perspective was brought into the conversation. Over the years, the additional perspective has allowed the school a clearer and more accurate view of each applicant. We will share how we have implemented this model, including building trust with applicant families, as well as what to look for in an applicant file to evaluate if a student is mission-appropriate.
