Jamie (Brush) Scott leads Shady Side Academy’s philanthropic initiatives, overseeing fundraising, alumni relations, and major gifts to support the Academy’s mission and growth.

A Shady Side alumna, Scott joined the Academy as Assistant Director of Communications before transitioning to Alumni Relations and Development. Prior to Shady Side, she worked in development at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and as a Contributing Writer at Whirl magazine, while volunteering her time on local non-profit boards. Scott holds a bachelor’s in journalism from Indiana University at Bloomington.

A Pittsburgh native, Scott is deeply committed to growing and stewarding the culture of philanthropy at Shady Side. On the weekends, she can be found on the sidelines of her children’s sporting events and on riverfront walks with her husband and dog.
