Lauren Van Tol (She/Her) is the Associate Director of Admission at St. Adnrew's Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland, with a professional background spanning enrollment, communications, and nonprofit leadership. Her work is rooted in building strong relationships, creating thougtful programming, and helping students and families feel a genuine sense of connection and belonging. Beyond admission, Lauren is deeply invested in student life as a twelfth-grade advisor and faculty sponsor of the Black Student Alliance, where mentorship and community-building are central to her work.
A graduate of the EMA Future Leaders Institute, Lauren holds a BA in Afro-American Studies and Human Development from Howard University and an MA in Contemporary Communication from Notre Dame of Maryland University. She brings a student centered lens to all aspects of her work, with a particular passion for inclusive enrollment practices and meaningful family engagement.
Outside of schoool, Lauren loves travel and trip planning and is often the architect behind memorable family adventures with her husband, Jesse, and their son, Emerson.
