Alex is currently the Director of Admission and Enrollment Management at the International School of Boston in Cambridge, MA. After receiving his bachelor's in Business Management at Stonehill College, he went on to receive a master's in Strategic Communication from Regis College and a doctorate in Higher Education Administration at Northeastern University. His research was centered on improving the college admissions process for low-income students. With a decade of experience in enrollment and communication in higher education, he has led strategy development pursuant to the institutional goals of increasing education access for underserved student populations, onboarding of new staff members, and data driven decision making to pursue enrollment as well as retention goals at the university level before making the switch to Independent Schools in the Summer of 2025. His passions include education access initiatives for students and building relationships as a catalyst for students feeling a sense of belonging on campus. Additionally, in alignment with his research, he implemented social emotional frameworks into team building as a way to foster staff development and retention. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons as well as his dog, Luna in their home north of Boston.
