Steve Brown is an Olympian, two-sport NCAA athlete, educator, and the Founder of the Steve Brown Academy (SBA) - a national consulting firm dedicated to the academic, athletic, and leadership development of student-athletes and their families.
Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Steve earned his B.S. in Mathematics from Wake Forest University while competing in football and track. After graduation, he pursued professional football and competed in the 110-meter high hurdles at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
Steve later transitioned into education, serving in leadership roles across independent schools for over two decades. He holds an MBA from Duke University and is completing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.
Through the Steve Brown Academy, he equips families with elite-level guidance in NCAA recruiting, academic preparation, and college planning. Steve also delivers motivational keynotes and professional development across the country, rooted in his signature message: "If you have a lane, you have a chance."
