Kirsten Horton is the Assistant Director of Lower School Admissions at St. David’s School in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she leads PK–4 enrollment strategy, assessment design, and family experience. A former classroom teacher with over a decade of experience across Montessori, public, and independent school settings, she brings a developmental and relational lens to admissions work.
Kirsten’s practice focuses on designing admissions processes that reflect school culture, strengthen family trust, and support long-term student success. She is particularly known for her work in early childhood admissions, student ambassador programs, and experience-driven enrollment systems. She has presented at regional and national levels and works closely with school leadership to align admissions strategy with mission, classroom composition, and community culture.
