Description
Forget everything you know about conference workshops. This is different.
You won't sit in rows. You won't watch a PowerPoint. You won't be talked at for 60 minutes.
Instead, you'll walk through the doors as a prospective family would, scanning a QR code, and experiencing the event journey from the other side. Then, we'll flip the script and you’ll become the architects of something different.
As participants, you will get your hands “dirty” designing events that make families say "wow" and reimagining your event strategy. Guided by your peers from leading independent schools, you'll rotate through interactive stations tackling real challenges: remixing traditional events with unexpected constraints (no, you can't just do another campus tour), rethinking bland communications to discover what’s actually engaging, and decoding event data like detectives to uncover what drives enrollment.
This isn't a lecture. It's not a demo. It's an interactive experience where you will leave with ideas that you will be excited to implement and a fresh perspective on what your event management could become.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Design creative formats for admissions events that go beyond traditional open houses and tours
- Craft compelling event communications that drive attendance and engagement
- Experience a model event workflow firsthand, inspiring new thinking about their own enrollment strategies
