Description
Intentional alignment among faculty, parents, students, and the Admissions Office can shape—and ultimately define—the experience of a prospective family. In independent schools, where mission and culture are paramount, thoughtful collaboration across constituent groups is not simply beneficial; it is essential to transforming a “maybe” into an enthusiastic “yes.”
When admissions messaging and outreach coalesce around a unified school voice - rooted in mission, strengthened by trust, and sustained through authentic connection - enrollment outcomes are measurably enhanced. This session will explore actionable strategies to bring that alignment to life. Presenters will share approaches for engaging faculty as authentic partners in the admissions process, outline a multi-step framework for designing and sustaining a parent ambassador program, and identify ways to empower students as compelling storytellers. The session will also illustrate how mission-aligned communications can meaningfully influence prospective families’ perception of a school and their decision-making.
Participants will leave with practical instruments for their toolkit and a clearer understanding of how to intentionally activate their community to cohesively articulate their school’s unique value - strengthening both connection and enrollment in the process.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
Identify and implement strategies to align faculty, parents, and students as mission-driven partners in the admissions process.
Develop a scalable plan for engaging parent and student ambassadors to authentically represent the school’s culture and values.
