Name
Widening the Welcome: Leveraging Community for Enrollment Impact
Date & Time
Thursday, September 24, 2026, 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Description
What if your strongest enrollment strategy isn’t something you need to build, but something you already have? In a crowded market, many schools look and sound similar on paper. The true differentiator is often the people families meet and the connections they form along the way. Participants will reframe their school’s community as a living and breathing marketing tool, rather than a passive resource. Inviting prospective families into your community through the admissions cycle allows for organic connections, genuine belonging, and a peek behind the curtain. In this session, we will take you on the journey of being a BFS prospective family. Attend a music class, grab a cup of coffee with a current parent, and join our whole school for a Cultural Community Dinner. This session explores how to “widen the welcome” by engaging students, families, faculty, and school leaders as active partners in the enrollment process. Participants will learn practical strategies to expand touchpoints, deepen authentic connection, and strengthen yield by leveraging community as their most powerful enrollment tool.
