At St. Andrew's Episcopal School, we restructured our Student Ambassador Program to better reflect the leadership expectations we place on our students and the operational needs of a modern enrollment office. By transitioning the program onto Canvas as a formal “course,” we transformed ambassador coordination from a loosely managed extracurricular activity into a structured, accountable, and student-driven leadership experience. In this session, we will share how moving the Student Ambassador Program onto a platform students already engage with daily increased accountability, organization, and ownership. Tours are now assigned through Canvas as formal assignments, meetings are posted within the course calendar, and modules house essential resources such as tour routes, expectations, training materials, and communication guidelines. This structure ensures ambassadors have immediate access to materials while reinforcing professional responsibility through clear deadlines and submission expectations.
