Farrah Jinha is the Associate Director of Community Engagemnet and a Senior Admission Counsellor at Upper Canada College, an all boys IB World School in Toronto, Canada. She has a combined 30 years of communications, community engagement, event managemet and admissions experience. Farrah began her work in education supporting independent schools in British Columbia, followed by creating outreach and engagement strategies at the Bishop Strachan School, an all-girls school in Toronto. Farrah has desgined and implemented egnaging student leadership programs, outreach activities and community building parent engaegment initiatives. She studied at the Unviersity of Toronto where she was the first female minority elected president of the student body, representing 30,000 undergraduate students to the adminsitration, government and external organizations. Farrah holds certificates in Community Engagement from the University of Michigan and Social Media and Digital Marketing from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. A life long learner and mom to 3 adult children, she enjoys reading and hand lettering.
