Ashleigh Ninnis currently serves as Associate Director of Admissions at The Madeira School, a boarding and day school for girls in grades 9-12 in McLean, VA. Born and raised in South Africa, Ashleigh has worked in youth-centered settings all over the world, including South Korea, Croatia, the UK, and the US. Ashleigh is passionate about empowering young women and enjoys traveling far and wide to meet inspiring individuals who are eager to broaden their horizons through education, travel, and cultural exchange opportunities. At Madeira, Ashleigh focuses on international recruitment and outreach and also manages the Student Ambassador program. She loves building relationships with students, families, and consultants and working collaboratively with her amazing team. Outside of Admissions, Ashleigh is an advisor, club sponsor, sought-after chaperone, and school spirit enthusiast (Go, Go Escargot!) Before Madeira, Ashleigh served as Director at an international summer camp in central Virginia, overseeing all aspects of their year-round marketing strategy and enrollment, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of an overnight camp serving more than 200 youth each week.
