In this session, we’ll explore strategies for positioning the 9th grade year as a meaningful capstone to students’ time at Fay School (both a day and junior boarding program). Through a multi-pronged approach that includes intentional programming, community education, student engagement, and strategic secondary school counseling, we’ll discuss ways to both retain students and elevate the value of a 9th grade experience. Participants will leave with actionable ideas for enhancing their own programs and reinforcing the importance of a thoughtfully designed final year.
