Yes, you see them most days, and yes, you meet often, but that doesn’t mean your relationship is rock solid. Positive, honest, and strategy-focused engagement with your Head of School (and your Board of Trustees) has a significant impact on their confidence in you, and your ability to achieve your goals. So, take matters into your own hands and get strategic with your communication. In the session, we’ll discuss the barriers that keep you from communicating honestly and authentically with your Head of School, and how to address and overcome them to create a successful partnership. We will also talk about what TO DO and what NOT TO DO when: -Times are tough (the numbers are not looking good) -Things are going well (we need to hire!) -Non-programmatic changes (i.e., demographics) impact your ability to recruit and retain students.
