This keynote will focus on the evolving legal landscape impacting independent school admissions offices.  Brian will touch on the continuing effect of the Supreme Court’s affirmative action case on higher education and K-12 admissions, as well as other recent cases and legal issues involving independent schools’ duties and obligations to applicants.

We've all seen the headlines of notable higher education institutions—Dartmouth, M.I.T., Georgetown, Yale—announcing a return to required admissions testing. Are we amidst a substantial shift back to standardized admissions testing? And what does it mean for K–12 enrollment leaders? Four years after COVID-19, Dr. Keith Wright will discuss why many are rethinking standardized testing policies and what it means for the post-pandemic educational landscape.
